- To begin using the Dash System, from the Home screen, click on the Quick Links bar on the right-side of the screen.
- The Quick Links window will populate, proceed to click on Dash.
Basic Applicant Information Tab
- On this tab, be sure to select the correct policy type from the drop down if not already pre-populated.
- Edit the effective date as needed.
- Enter the phone number and email address.
- Selecting Save and Continue will be followed by the FCRA Notice, which needs to be accepted by the consumer, and then Dash does all the work by collecting data in the background.
Trusted Advisory Tab
- Under Quote Preview, you can review the quote# and effective date.
- The Notification Pane will highlight UW Alerts, supporting documentation information and discount information.
- Proceed to add, remove, and edit drivers/vehicles. Click Add to add an additional driver or vehicle, or the trash can to delete a driver or vehicle.
- Next, answer the Important Questions (these are upfront underwriting questions).
- If you select yes to the question about accidents and add self-reported claims
- This section also can reorder prefill.
Coverages and Premiums Tab
- Starting out, under the Current Coverage section, the current carrier information pulled, if not found, you will have the ability to manually enter.
- Under Liability Coverages, proceed to set liability coverage for all vehicles w/ premiums.
- Under Vehicle Coverages, is one of two places to make coverage changes for each vehicle.
- Next to Vehicle Coverages, there is a blue hyperlink, labeled View Side-by-Side, here you can click here to see the side-by-side view, which is the second place to make vehicle changes. (See below to learn more about the side-by-side view)
- Then, add coverage for each individual vehicle or all.
Side-by-Side View
- Under this view, you can change deductible amounts for each individual vehicle.
- You can also add Rental Reimbursement – if you select a higher amount for one vehicle, all vehicles will default to the higher amount.
- This is not available unless vehicle has Comprehensive coverage.
Discounts Tab
- Under the Quote Preview, proceed to select the pay plan.
- Under the blue hyperlink labeled Notes, you can enter notes for the quote
- On this screen, you can view the total premium, it also includes all discounts and taxes & fees.
- Under the Driver Discounts section, proceed to add/remove applicable vehicle/driver/policy discounts.
- Only proceed if the customer is interested in binding, as CLUE and MVR will be ordered. If so, click Yes, the customer wishes to proceed.
- Selecting View Quote Summary to review the quote only.
Quote Summary
Below is an example of the Quote Summary that generates as a PDF.
Underwriting Tab
- Under this tab, the MVR is updated and both reports (MVR and CLUE) are available to view.
- In this section, you can verify or enter policy information if needed.
- If needed, you can add the AAA membership number.
- If ready to issue the policy, click the Issue Auto Policy button.
Issue Tab
- Once on the Issue tab, click the blue hyperlink labeled Open Documents to open documents as well as setting up e-mail address for e-signature.
- Under the Signature section, select Electronically Signed.
- Sign up for Paperless Preferences and verify the e-mail address.
- This screen is the second place to change Payment Plan, with breakdowns.
- Add a payment method by clicking the Add a Payment Method button.
- Bind the policy by clicking Issue.
Confirmation Screen
- Lastly, you will reach the Success screen advising the policy was bound.
