Home Quote Summary Section
- Choose payment type.
- Input SSN to maintain the multi-policy discount.
- Review any policy errors.
- Select Opt-in for the DIY home inspection to provide additional savings
- Discuss customer Coverage B through Coverage D to meet the customer’s needs
- Click Compare Special Limit Policy Options Side-by-Side to select the best option for the customer.
- Select Build Quote to create the quote proposal.
Homeowner Underwriting Section
- Click Unlisted to add unlisted documents.
- Answer all Underwriting Questions.
- Click Add File when available in the Underwriting Questions to attach required documents.
- Click Next.
Homeowner Billing and Payment Information Section
- Select Yes or No to indicate if there are any other in force Personal lines policies.
- Select Yes only if any other policies have already been issued and are currently active.
- Select No only if this is the first personal lines policy being issued.
- Select the desired policy billing method.
- Input the Total Due Today.
- Select the desired payment method.
- You can Click Installment Schedule to see when payments are scheduled.
- Click Next.
Homeowner Remarks Section
From the Remarks screen, use the following steps to proceed to the Upload screen.
- Input any additional information including explanations to underwriting questions.
- Click Print Application to print or save a PDF copy of the application.
- Click Next at the bottom of the screen.
Additional notes from the Upload screen:
- Applications here do not have a policy number
- PDF applications can be sent for e-sign
Homeowner Upload Section
From the Upload screen, use the next steps to upload or proceed to the SpeedPay section.
- Review information located at the top of the Upload screen before uploading the policy.
- Review any Underwriting Message Remarks.
- Select the desired paperless preferences for both policy and billing documents.
- Input the insured’s contact information.
- Click Upload or Enter Payment Information.
- If Upload is showing, click to upload the policy and proceed to the confirmation screen.
- If Enter Payment Information is showing, click to open the SpeedPay window.
SpeedPay Section
Once the Enter Payment Information button is selected from the Upload screen, the SpeedPay window will pop up and overlay the Upload Screen. Use the following steps to input bank information:
Payment / Upload Confirmation
Once Upload is selected or the SpeedPay flow is completed, a Payment / Upload Confirmation page appears. This will list the policy number and provide the ability to print relevant policy documents such as the instant declaration page, application with policy number, receipt, and id cards. The policy has now been uploaded.
Uploaded, Now What?
Once the homeowner or auto policy has been uploaded, the initial quote will no longer appear in the Quote/App Search (landing page) screen on GAINWeb. The policy will be downloaded to GrangeAgent for future access once the policy has been reviewed and/or approved by underwriting. This can take up to five business days. During this time, the policy will be in one of four possible policy statuses: Pending, Processed, Error, Not Found. You can check the status at any time and access the pending policy before it downloads to GrangeAgent by doing the following:
