Locating a Policy/ Quote
- From the main page of the carrier website, the search field is up at the top, you can search by name, policy number or quote number. Simply enter the search criteria and then click the magnifying glass.
- Any returned quotes or policies will be returned under the Total Policies section. If the policy is active, it will have an effective date under status. If it is a quote, it will state Quote under the state along with the date the quote was completed.
- To access the policy or quote, click on the # number hyperlink.
Named Insured Information
- Upon accessing the account, the Named Insured’s name and property address will be right at the top of the Policy Info screen.
Effective Dates
- Effective dates can be located on the Policy Info screen in two locations, see below:
Policy Documents
- From the Policy Info section, you can access the Declaration Page by clicking the icon labeled COV.
- If you click the icon with the magnifying glass, you can access the application.
- Click the icon labeled DEC to access the Declarations Page.
- Click on the icon labeled APP to access the application.
- For both the declarations page and the application, a new window will populate where the PDF can be viewed.
- Documents can also be accessed by clicking on the Activity tab on the left-side navigation bar.
- Click on Batched Items and Memos and all documents are viewable there as well.
- Click on the icon under View to view each document.
Coverages and Deductibles
- To view coverages and deductibles on the policy, from the Policy Info section, click on COV.
- Proceed to scroll down on this screen to view the Deductibles and Current Coverages sections.
Mortgagee Clause
- To view coverages and deductibles on the policy, from the Policy Info section, click on COV. (As shown above for Coverages and Deductibles).
- It will be the third section under Homeowner Details.
- Only mortgagee changes and additional insured endorsements can be completed on the website.
- To make these changes, click the E-Quote icon at the top of the screen.
- This will bring you to the Endorsement Information section.
- Select the Endorsement Date and Endorsement Reason.
- Then click Continue to proceed.
- From here, you can update, add or remove the mortgagee clause information.
All Other Changes
- For quotes for changes or to process a change to coverages, discounts and limits, we would email the request to customerservice@hoaic.com.
For Cancellations
- Email the request to customerservice@hoaic.com or contact the Customer Service Team at 866-407-9896.
- Any request to backdate a cancellation will require the following:
- Proof of duplicate coverage
- Proof of sale of the property
- Proof of no closing if the policy is not rewritten to a new effective date
- Refunds will be sent to the party that paid for the policy. The following are possible exceptions:
- Home Sold – Refund goes to Insured- Please provide the current mailing address for proper disbursement
- Foreclosure- Refunded to lender
