Lemonade Servicing Guide for Renters

Locating a Policy/ Quote

  1. To locate a policy on Lemonade’s website, there are 2 options:

    a.  First, from the Home page, you can click Show All under the Policies or Quotes sections.
  2. This will provide the full list that can be filtered by type, state or status.
  3. You can also search by using the search bar at the top of the Home page. 
  4. Proceed to type in the policy number or name and any results will begin to populate, you can toggle between both quote and policy results.
  5. You can also click Show All Results to see all matching results on one page. 

Named Insured Information

  1. All the Named Insured Information will appear under the Policy Details section in User Details including name, address, date of birth, email, etc. 

Effective Dates

  1. Effective dates can be located under Policy Details, scroll to Policy Lifecycle to see the Effective and Renewal Dates. 

Policy Documents 

  1. While under the Policy Details tab, click on Actions, select either Preview Policy PDF or Download Declaration Page to view policy documents. 

Coverages and Deductibles

  1. To view current coverage and deductibles, under Policy Details, scroll down to the Coverages section.

Mortgagee Clause

Since this is a Renters policy, there will not be a mortgagee clause. 

Endorsements

  1. To change limits, deductibles, locate the pencil next to the coverage/ deductible. If there is not a pencil icon, this option cannot be edited.
  2. Upon clicking on the pencil, a new window will populate, select the desired option.
  3. Then click Update. 



  4. To add coverage, under Endorsements, click Add, any available endorsements will appear in the drop-down, select the coverage desired. 
  5. Select the limit and any other coverage-specific options.
  6. Click the I’ve Confirmed this Policy Change with UW.
  7. Click Add.

 

Discounts

  1. To view any current discounts, scroll down to Safety Devices and Other Credits, they will be listed here.
  2. To add an additional discount, click on Add and any available discounts will appear in the drop-down menu.
  3. To remove a discount, click on the trash can next to the discount. 
  4. Complete the necessary information for the discount.
  5. Then click Add. 

Payment Details

  1. To view payments made or future payments, click on the Policy Payments tab. 
  2. Click on Actions to change the payment plan, edit payment details or to generate a receipt. 
  3. If the customer needs to update their payment method, click on Edit Payment Details as shown above. This will generate a link you will need to provide to the customer to update this information on their own.

For Cancellations

You will need to chat in or email agents@lemonade.com as canceling a policy is not yet available in the portal for agents.
