Neptune Flood Quoting Navigation Guide 

  1. To begin the quoting process, on the home screen, enter the address of the property to be quoted.
    1. Any matching addresses will appear, proceed to select the correct address from the drop-down.
  2. Then click Create Quote.
  3. Next is the Address Validation section, confirming that the customer’s address is correct. If not, proceed to make necessary adjustments. 
  4. Next, under the Our Products section, proceed to select the type of policy you want to quote. 
  5. Next, under the Someone Lives Here/ Nobody Lives Here sections, select the correct occupancy type for the home.
  6. Under the Status section, confirm the Inception date.
  7. Then enter the Producer Name. 
    1. Everything else should auto-populate.

  8. Under the Eligibility section, indicate if the property being quoted is a manufactured or mobile home.
  9. Then advised if the property has had any prior flood losses.
  10. Next, proceed to enter the home details including: 
    1. Year built
    2. Flood zone
      1. NOTE: If unsure of flood zone, it can be determined here: https://floodpartners.com/flood-zones/ 
    3. Construction
    4. Residency
    5. Occupancy
    6. Foundation Type

  11. Next, if there are stairs leading to the front door, indicate the number of stairs.
  12. Enter the number of stories the home has.
  13. Lastly, if the home has a unit number, enter the unit number for the property being quoted. 
  14. Next is the Coverage section. You can either type in or use the slider to select the coverage limit for the building and contents.
  15. Then select the desired deductible for the policy.
  16. Under the Optional Coverage section, select any unattached structure coverage if applicable.
  17. Also, any pool repair & fill coverage if necessary.
  18. Indicate if the customer wants replacement cost coverage on their contents and if they want temporary living expense coverage and select the limit. 
  19. Proceed to enter in the customer’s first and last name, email and phone number.
  20. A co-applicant can also be added if desired.
  21. Next, proceed to enter the billing information, you will need to select who to bill initially and who to bill at renewal. 
    1. NOTE: If Mortgagee-Billed, scroll down to enter lender information before selecting Mortgagee Lienholder. 


    If a mortgagee/ lienholder needs to be added, it can be done by clicking Add a Lienholder. 
  22.  Proceed to enter the lender’s information. 
  23. If you need to delete a lender’s information, click the red trash can at the top right. 
  24. To add the lender information, click Add Lienholder.
  25. Throughout the quote, the premium estimate will appear at the bottom right-side of the quote, as shown below.
  26. From here, you can click View/ Email Quote to view or send a PDF of the quote or click Bind to proceed to bind.
