Progressive Post-Bind Guide- Auto and Recreational Lines

To help make the policy process quick and easy, customers can now sign their documents at progressive.com/agent using an online signature for Personal Auto and Recreational Lines in select states!

The steps below outline how customers can sign their policy documents online and what they see once they complete these steps.

NOTE: Personal Auto and Recreational Lines policies require separate online signatures.

  1. A purchase confirmation email is sent within 15 minutes after the policy is sold, including a temporary user ID and password. 
  2. The customer should click Sign Documents to link directly to progressive.com/agent to start the signature process.
  3. They will proceed to enter temporary credentials (user ID and password) on the Welcome screen. 
  4. Then click Log In. 
  5. The system recognizes the credentials as temporary and takes them directly to the Set Up Account screen. 
  6. NOTE: They can also click the Register link on the Welcome screen, then enter the policy number, last name, date of birth, and ZIP code. A Set Up Your Account email is sent with a Create Account link. For security reasons, they can only use this link once and it’ll only remain active for two hours. They will then click the Create Account link to advance to the Set Up Account screen.
  7. They will proceed to set up the account, which includes: 
  8. Creating a user ID and password.
  9. Choosing security questions.
  10. Clicking the box agreeing to online terms and conditions. 
  11. NOTE: The User ID must have at least six characters and can include letters, numbers, and special characters. The Password is case sensitive and must have at least eight characters, one letter, and one number or special character. 
  12. Then click Create Your Account.
  13. Depending on the screen displayed, they will click either Sign Documents or Please sign your new policy documents. 
  14. They should review the new policy documents to sign electronically along with other documents that need to be sent to Progressive to avoid any policy uprates. 
  15. Click Sign Online. 
  16. They’re automatically taken to the DocuSign site to sign documents.
  17. They will click the box agreeing to the Electronic Record and Signature Disclosure Terms and Conditions
  18. Click Sign Document.
  19. They should confirm their name, initials, and signature. 
  20. Click Confirm and Sign. 
  21. Repeat the process for any additional forms that require a signature. 
  22. Click Finish after all forms have been signed. 
  23. They are returned to progressive.com/agent to view signed forms and policy documents or print ID cards.
  24. Click the Documents link to view signed forms. 
  25. What they signed is displayed along with Alerts to find out what’s left to do to finalize the policy.
