Stillwater Post-Bind Guide

  1. Once the quote and property information are complete, you will reach the Coverage tab, proceed to review the coverages with the customer. Once you have reviewed the information, click Next.
  2. There will be additional questions pertaining to the mortgage, additional named insured, and other interests to complete. Once completed, click Next.
  3. If the home has a mortgage and this was indicated, you will be prompted to enter the lender information along with the loan number and indicate if the policy is escrowed. 
  4. Next, proceed to select the payment option, then click Continue to Purchase Policy.
  5. On the Acknowledgment page, enter the customer’s contact information including email address and phone numbers. Also complete the Consumer Reports Notice and Underwriting Question Confirmation. Lastly, you can set the customer up to go paperless.
  6. Then click Next
  7. On the Make a Payment screen, select the date the policy will start, the down payment amount and the payment method, then click Purchase Policy.
  8. You will receive a confirmation screen and the customer will be sent an email to eSign their application.

Customer e-Sign process

  1. The customer will receive an from eSign@mail.stillwater.com to sign and return the application and applicable forms. 
  2. When they open the email, they will see the image below. 
  3. Proceed to click on Open the Document to proceed signing and/or initialing the required documents. 
  4. Select Start to begin the process. The customer is not required to sign up for an account to complete the signature process.
  5. Select Fill In and the customer will be directed to where to sign.
  6. They should choose the desired font type and then click Accept and Sign.
  7. The customer will be directed to the next required signature – click Accept and Sign until all are completed.
  8. When you are done, they can click the Finish button.
  9. Once finished, this message will appear.  The customer can click on downloading a signed PDF now to download a signed PDF version of the document.
