Travelers Post-Bind Guide

  1. Once you reach the Portfolio screen:
    1. Review the quote one last time to ensure everything looks correct.
    2. Get the customer’s permission to bind or click Save and Close to come back later.
    3. If the customer is ready to proceed, click Continue. 


  1. Next is the Pay and Issue tab, under the Billing tab will outline the different payment options. 
  2. Select the Pay in Full or Installment option for the preferred method of payment. If there is a service charge involved. Advise the customer.
  3. Proceed to enter today's payment details.
  4. Then enter in future payment details. 

 

  1. Under the Pay & Issue tab, in the Online Account tab, scroll down to the e-Signature Preference section. 

 



  1. Select Yes for e-Signature Preference question. IMPORTANT: All Travelers policy documents should be sent via e-signature. 
    1. NOTE: Selecting yes will make this applicable for all quotes in this account. This will send the application and the state-specific forms for the respective lines of business. 
  2. Within one hour of the policy being issued, the customer will receive a link to set up their MyTravelers account to sign their application and sign and upload any supporting documentation. 
    1. If not completed on the phone, set a follow-up in Salesforce to return to the Travelers website to confirm that the e-Signature was received by the next business day.
  3. Next is the Final Sale tab under Pay and Issue. In this section:
    1. Review/ update any missing information.
    2. Quotes with the status of Ready to Issue can be issued immediately. Quotes with the status of Ready to Refer will be sent to UW for review and issuance.
  4. Click Submit to Issue.

 

  1. Next is an acknowledgement page that will populate including all applicable policy details. From here you can also:
    1. Create documents.
    2. Under the Account Rounding section, quote an additional line of business or calculate an Umbrella policy with additional exposures.
  2. Click Save and Close when done.

 

Checking Status of e-Signature

  1. To view the status of an e-Signature, from the Travelers homepage, go to Agency Reports.
  2. Then proceed to click on eSignature Status report. This report will show all policies issued with Travelers E-Signature in the past 90 days.
  3. You can identify the status of the e-Signature by viewing the Status column and the Detail column will specify the date completed.
